I bought this set of three ice bags because I have different body pains and constant migraine issues. The reason I chose this set is because I have always said that ice bags really help my headaches but holding them there is very difficult. This set comes with three different ice bags. A very small size that is perfect especially if your headache is on one side of your face. It’s enough to cover either your forehead or eye area very nicely. The next size would cover your entire forehead and some of your scalp. It would be great for sports related injuries, knees, shoulder etc. I use this one when headache/migraine covers more than one side of my head. The largest size is great for my back as well as my upper shoulders and neck area. Having the strap is perfect. I have tested it on my head, scalp, neck, shoulders, and thigh. Each place worked well and kept the ice packs securely in place. The strap is made so that you can pop it off the other bags for the one that you need. I have actually been looking for something like this for ages because you don’t see ice packs with straps. The gel packs just don’t work for me and those were the only ones that I had previously found with straps. I am overjoyed with finding this set. It doesn’t leak. All three of them are very tightly sealed. Also, there is no water that comes through the fabric. It stays very dry even when I leave it on my head overnight and wake up the next morning. I’ve tested these in many situations over the past few weeks and definitely will keep purchasing these in the future. They are a valuable investment for keeping my pain at bay.

I was skeptical, but wanted to try something that 1) would stay cold longer than the gel type ice packs that I have to store in the freezer, and 2) wouldn’t leak like the zip lock plastic bags I’d been using. These “old fashioned” water bottles are great! They seem well made – the fabric is very thick and the screw cap has enough “screws” that it definitely provides a tight seal. Best of all I can use regular ice from my freezer! I got the occasional “dew” dampness from from condensation, but not much at all! The fabric is flexible and totally water tight. They can hold a LOT more ice than I expected… the smallest can take almost 15 of the moon shaped cubes made by the icemaker in my fridge.I gave these a 4 rating for versatility, as they don’t really conform or mold to an area like the gel packs do, but the lasting cold is more important to me, as the spot I’m icing doesn’t require that. I haven’t tried the band to hold the pack in place, so can’t comment on that.I’d recommend these if you have long-term need for ice packs, as they are reusable, stay colder for longer, and don’t take up space in your freezer, and seem much more durable than the gel packs.
