After having a 100.2-100.4 degree fever for two weeks I was seeking relief that lasted more than minutes and Advil and Tylenol were not doing a thing! With these wonderful ice packs you can have hours of relief from headaches and fevers. All you do is fill them with ice and add a little water. Then place the pack on your head or behind your head on the nape of your neck. I find these work better than a pack of frozen peas and are perfect on your forehead when a fever won’t quit. One of the things I found that helps these work ever better is a technique of squeezing out the air from the top of the bag before you use them. That way there is not an air bubble in the bag preventing the cold from getting to your head. These seal up nice and tight so no water leaks out. The cover does not really get in the way as I thought it might. There are three sizes and I’ve found the medium size immediately useful. I could see using the smaller pack for your face or jaw and the largest pack for your sore knee, stomach or ankle. The nice thing about these packs is that they form nicely to any shape so they are helpful from head to toe.I have not tried these with warm water yet but I could see how that could be comforting like a hot water bottle.I’m just happy to finally have some blessed relief from headaches and fevers. You can’t be too prepared forall eventualities these days. One last thing I’m not noticing any moisture on the outside of the bags during the winter. Maybe that is only an issue in the summer. If so, just wrap a nice kitchen towel around them.If you have any questions or concerns please consult with your doctor. Fevers can be a serious sign ofillness and should not be ignored.~The Rebecca Review

I love that this comes in 3 sizes. The smallest is great for when I get a headache. I can lay down and it sits right on my temple and eases the pressure. The largest one was super useful when my husband twisted his ankle recently. The midsized one is kept in our RV and is perfect all around for bumps and bruises on the road. I love that the opening fits perfectly under our ice machine on the front of the fridge.
